Tunisia-born British designer Tom Dixon dropped out of the Chelsea School of Art to play bass in a band, before teaching himself first to weld, then to produce furniture. By the late 1980s he was designing the iconic ‘S’ chair for Cappellini. A former creative director at Habitat, Dixon is best known for his sleek light fixtures and chic interior designs for the likes of Shoreditch House and Mondrian London.
‘Chop’ Rectangular Chopping Board
$210.00 inc. GST
Chop comes from the Eclectic Series by Tom Dixon and is the little helper in your kitchen. Whether you are serving or cutting – this impressive cutting board with its rectangular shape must in every kitchen!
Designed by Tom Dixon in 2012, this chopping board is milled from solid, untreated European oak. We reckon it’s much too nice to use for cutting and prepping only. It would make a lovely cheese or charcuterie platter. It features a soft curved edge, a convenient hole for hanging or holding, and a brass logo detail. Two other versions are also available here.
