FAQ

  1. Definitions
    The “Free Trial” refers to No Obligation 14-day trial period, inclusive of both Delivery and End Date.
    The “Goods” refers to the Aeron Chair in Size B Graphite.
    The “Commencement Date” refers to the date the goods are delivered to the Delivery Location.
    The “End Date” refers to the date of the last day of the Free Trial.
  2. Delivery of Goods
  • XTRA will deliver one Aeron Chair (Size B) Graphite free-of-charge to the Delivery Location specified.
  • Customers will be contacted to arrange the date and time of delivery.
  • Customers must sign to acknowledge the goods and agree to the Terms & Conditions put forward by XTRA.
  • Customers will not pay any fees upon receiving of goods.
  1. Free Trial Period
  • The Free Trial period is limited to 14 days only, commencing upon delivery date.
  • Free Trial of the Aeron Chair is strictly limited to one chair per household at a time.
  • During the Free Trial, XTRA will assist in providing training and/or technical assistance to the customer. Alternatively, you may contact marketing@xtra.com.sg for more queries.
  • Towards the end of the Free Trial, XTRA will contact the customer advising the date and details of the collection and asking whether you wish to purchase the Goods.
  • Should the customer decide to purchase the Goods before or at the end of the Free Trial, XTRA sales team will arrange for invoicing to be finalised.
  1. End of Free Trial Period
  • Strictly no extension will be provided after the end of the Free Trial Period.
  • If customer chooses to return the chair at the end of the Free Trial, collection of goods will be carried out the following day after expiration of the Free Trial Period.
  • Collection of goods will be free-of-charge.
  • In the event that Goods are found in damaged or soiled condition upon return, where it is not a manufacturing defect, charges will be imposed.
  • Free Trial recipients are encouraged to provide feedback on their level of satisfaction with regards to the operation and performance of the product and service.
  • XTRA will retain and use any data collected during the Free Trial Period for training, research and commercial purposes.
  1. Title, Risk and Property
  • The Goods remain the property of XTRA Designs Pte Ltd.
  • The Customer should not exchange, sell or loan the Goods.
  • The Customer must keep the Goods in a marketable condition and operate it diligently with care.
  1. Health and Safety
  • Due to on-going health and safety measures, we would like to ensure that all Goods are sanitised before delivery.
  • Goods will be drop-and-go only to minimise contact tracing and will arrive pre-assembled (no assembly required).
  • XTRA is compliant with all applicable health and safety regulations, advisory standards and codes of practice.
  • The use of Goods will be at the Customer’s own risk.
  • XTRA will not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, expense or any other claims arising from involvement in any activity for the use of the Goods.
  1. Termination
  • Customers must notify XTRA if they choose to return the goods before the Free Trial Period ends. Kindly contact marketing@xtra.com.sg for more information.
  • Customers must return the Goods once the Free Trial period ends. Collection is scheduled 1 day after the Free Trial end date.
  • Failure to return goods will be charged with full retail price of SGD$2,579 (GST inclusive). Otherwise, legal action will be taken.
  • XTRA reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
  1. Warranties and Liabilities
  • The Customer should not in any way remove, damage, photocopy or share the information of the Warranty Card.
  • XTRA will not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, expense or any other claims arising from involvement in any activity for the use of the Goods or collection, loading, unloading or transportation of goods.
  1. Purchase of Aeron Chair
  • All chairs on Free Trial are brand new.
  • For purchases of chairs during the Free Trial Period, please email us at marketing@xtra.com.sg for payment options.
  • All Clearance items are sold as-is and are a final sale. There are no refunds or exchanges provided once the item is purchased.
  • Warranty is not applicable to clearance sale items.
  • Kindly take note that items may be discoloured, faded, or worn on spots as it has been a showroom display model.
  • Please take note that items do not come with their original boxes.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the product in store before purchasing. All images are used for illustration purposes only.
  • All items are first come, first serve. Please contact the Xtra Retail Showroom at +65 6336 0688 (Marina Square) or email us directly at info@xtra.com.sg to confirm availability, quantity or should you need further clarifications.
  • XTRA Designs Pte Ltd reserves the right to amend the Clearance Product Disclaimer without prior notice.

Qn : If a product is out-of-stock, can I pre-order it?

Ans : Yes, you may pre-order a product. Indent orders will take around 3-4 months to arrive in Singapore.

Qn : May I know when would the products be restocked?

Ans : We will update restocked products on all our social media platforms. Follow our Facebook and Instagram accounts for more updates!

Qn : Are the Herman Miller office chair prices inclusive of ALL the ergonomic features ? Or do we have to add-on separately?

Ans : Yes, all Herman Miller ergonomic chairs comes inclusive with all features. Add-on items such as headrests are not sold in XTRA.

Qn : Does installation come when we purchase lightings from XTRA?

Ans: No, we do not provide light installations but let us know if you need any recommendations.

Qn : Will the 12-Year Warranty for Herman Miller office chairs be on-site servicing or do I have to bring it down?

Ans : It would be a case-by-case basis. Kindly send us a photo of your chair and send us at customerservice@xtra.com.sg

Qn : Which cards are accepted for interest free rates?

Ans : AMEX 6 months || OCBC 6/12 months. (Applicable only in-store).

Qn : I was halfway through the Paypal checkout and had some issues. Is the product still available or did my payment went through?

Qn : I would like to try the chairs out in real life. Is your shop still open and where is it located at?

Ans: Yes, our showroom operates daily and it is located at Marina Square #02-48, just right above Kiztopia.
